For centuries beautiful beads from the far corners the world were bartered for spices, exotic fabrics and other raw materials on trade routes crossing the seven seas. Glass and bone beads from Africa and Indonesia, millefiori beads from Italy and pearls, hand painted porcelain beads & cloisonne from the Far East traversed the globe and passed through many hands over the years weaving a rich tapestry of materials and cultures. Inspired by this rich mix this collection combines some of our favorite colour combinations - the ever stylish blue & white, sophisticated pink & green and opulent black and red.
